  1. Re-testing the same device again
    This removes all locally cached data so that “__installReferrer” will trigger again

  2. Completely close the app and confirm that it is not running.
    a. Force stop from the settings menus below if it provides the option

  3. Navigate to “App Info”
    a. Go to the Settings menu. This can be done by tapping the wheel icon in your notification window or apps menu
    b. Find Apps (or Applications, depending on your device) in the menu, then locate the app that you want to clear the cache or data for
    c. You can also long press on the app and go to “app info” in newer Android versions

  4. Tap on STORAGE to see the buttons for CLEAR CACHE and CLEAR DATA. Clear both in this step.

  5. Open SDK Console and click on “Forget” to have our system forget this device attribution

  6. Resume normal testing
